Workplace stress management

Taught as a practical skill.

On-site meditation, breathwork, and yin yoga for Denver teams. Stress is a physical state, and it responds to physical tools. Employees leave with two or three techniques they can use at a desk the next time it spikes.

The practical core of meditation and yoga

Practical, accessible sessions designed to help employees manage stress, reset during demanding workdays and leave with techniques they can use independently.

Ten seconds. Follow the circle.

No belief required

No framework to adopt, no chanting, and nothing asked of anyone's beliefs.

No athleticism required

Nobody works hard, nobody sweats, and nothing is being trained toward.

No prior experience needed

Every posture has a seated version, with modifications for every body in the room.

Session formats

Meditation and breathwork

30, 45, or 60 minutes

Autonomic stress regulation

A peak drawn in fine line, with couloirs and a snowfield

A seated session that teaches employees how to downshift their nervous systems. Breath mechanics include abdominal breathing, extended exhale, three-part breath, and resonant exhale. Guided single-point focus meditation in 10-minute blocks, so it stays approachable for beginners. A brief look at the research behind each technique. Employees leave with two or three techniques they can use at a desk without anyone noticing.

Runs anywhere with chairs. No mats, no floor space, no change of clothes.

Good fit for teams under deadline compression, post-incident or post-layoff periods, sales floors, and teams that are visibly running hot.

Yin yoga

45, 60, or 75 minutes

Somatic tension release

Line drawing of ranges receding behind a conifer forest

Chair and mat formats both available. Each posture is held two to five minutes at mild to moderate sensation, with no muscular effort. Held that long, passive tissue gives: the resistance you feel at the start of a pose drops as the hold continues. Employees feel that unwinding as it happens, which is what makes the session an embodied experience rather than a talk about stress. The sequence targets the pattern desk work builds: locked hips, compressed low back, forward-drawn shoulders, gripped jaw, stiff and achy neck.

Modifications for every body in the room. Props and mats provided, depending on group size.

Good fit for anyone eight-plus hours seated, and groups who have said no to yoga before.

The combined session

60, 75, or 90 minutes

Yin into breathwork and meditation

The full arc, and the recommended format when the schedule allows it. The body is unloaded first, then breath and attention land in tissue that is already relaxed.

Good fit for offsites, quarterly wellness days, or a standing weekly slot where the practice compounds.

Who's in the room

Built for mixed rooms

Beginners and skeptics

No vocabulary to learn and nothing to opt into. Groups who have turned down yoga before are the usual audience, not the exception.

Desk-bound teams

The sequences target what eight-plus hours of sitting builds, and the chair formats need nothing beyond the room you already have.

Mixed ability and limited mobility

Every posture has a seated version. Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome, and nobody is asked to get onto a floor.

Older adults

Offers yoga to senior living communities, including chair-only groups and rooms with a wide spread of ability.

Parkinson's and movement conditions

APDA certified in Parkinson's movement instruction, with pacing and cueing adapted accordingly.

Recovery and trauma-informed settings

Foundational training in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment: invitational language, genuine choice, no hands-on adjustment. Offers yoga to residential and outpatient recovery programs.

In their words

What participants say

After a session with Andrew, I feel much more relaxed physically and mentally, and these feelings of peace and mental clarity last throughout the day. Andrew's calming instruction is invaluable.

Christina

I am 65 and my prior experience in yoga classes was unremarkable. But Andrew's patience and acceptance of my limitations, combined with his slow, long holds, allowed me to achieve beyond what I thought was possible. I left feeling better in my neck and lower back than I had in a long time. I look forward to his classes.

Before you ask

Questions we get

Does anyone need yoga experience?

No. Nothing is assumed, there is no vocabulary to learn, and every instruction is given in plain language. Groups who have turned down yoga before are a normal audience, not the exception.

Is this religious or spiritual?

No. There is no chanting, no framework to adopt, and nothing asked of anyone's beliefs. The sessions teach breath mechanics, attention techniques and physical postures, and the research behind them.

What do people wear?

Whatever they wore to work. Nobody changes clothes and nobody sweats. Mat sessions are the exception, where something you can sit and move on the floor in is more comfortable than office clothes.

What do you need from us?

A room with chairs: a conference room, a common area, or a training room. Mat sessions need floor space instead. I bring everything else.

How many people can join?

Chair sessions fit as many as the room seats comfortably. For a mat session, let's talk through the group size first and I'll bring the props for everyone.

What if someone has an injury or limited mobility?

Every posture has a seated version and modifications are offered throughout. Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome. Nobody is corrected or adjusted by hand.

Are you insured?

Yes. Sessions are booked and invoiced through Muddy Lotus LLC, which carries liability coverage. A certificate of insurance and a W-9 are available on request, and I'm CPR certified.

How does invoicing work?

An invoice comes from Muddy Lotus LLC after the session, payable within 30 days. Purchase orders and vendor onboarding are no problem; send the forms and I'll complete them.

How far ahead should we book?

A week or two is usually enough for a single session. A standing weekly slot takes more lead time, so it's worth starting that conversation earlier.

How far do you travel?

On-site across the Denver metro at the listed rates. Further out is possible; ask, and we'll talk through the timing and what the rate would be.

Can we record the session or take photos?

Photos are fine with me, with the permission of the people in the room.

What do employees actually leave with?

Two or three techniques they can use at a desk without anyone noticing. A written summary of the exercises is available on request.
